Men in masks
‘Men in Masks’ offers a reflection on gender dynamics. With the series, I aim to emphasize the female perspective and explore how far one needs to objectify and abstract the male body before it transitions from an active subject to a passive object. As source material, I used AI-generated images (prompted by me), recycled gold foil from candy wrappers (love you Ferrero), and cardboard that was soaked in colored water and painted with chalks afterwards.
